- How many times does your shuttle run each day?

We run between 3 and 5 trips a day depending on the week you are traveling.

Where will the shuttle pick me up when I arrive at Chicago O’Hare International Airport?

When you arrive on an international flight you will arrive at Terminal 5. We will pick you up outside the arrivals level of Terminal 5 in front of door 5E Lower Level at the Shuttle Bus Stop. When arriving at the other terminals (1, 2 and 3) please go to the Bus/Shuttle Center (opposite the O’Hare Hilton Hotel) outside of door 4 a cross from the Hilton Hotel.

When travelling from Purdue (West Lafayette) on the shuttle to Chicago O’Hare International Airport where will the driver drop me off?

The driver of the shuttle will drop you off at the terminal you will depart from.

I am arriving with an international flight at Chicago O’Hare International Airport at 1:30 PM. Should I make reservations on the 2:30 PM shuttle bus?

Especially when arriving on an international flight you must allow yourself at least 1½ to 2½ hours to go through Immigration, collect your luggage and go through customs. Express Air Coach is not liable for any delay occurred.

How long does the trip take between Purdue (West Lafayette) and Chicago O’Hare International Airport?

In normal circumstances the trip will take under 3 hours. All advertised times are local times. Purdue (West Lafayette) is on Eastern Standard Time and Chicago O’Hare International Airport and Oakbrook are on Central Time.

- What is your Oakbrook Service- Only during the Purdue Calendar Year

We run our Oakbrook trips on Friday evenings and Sunday evenings. We take passengers Friday evenings to Oakbrook and then bring them back to Purdue on Sunday evenings. We can pickup/drop off at Purdue West/Fording Dining Court

Where does your shuttle pick-up and drop-off at Oakbrook Mall?

We pick up in the out-lot at Macy’s. You will be able to see the shuttle, which is properly labeled Express Air Coach.

Where do you pick up at Purdue to go to Oakbrook Mall?

We pick up at the Purdue Airport, Ford Dining Hall, or Purdue West.

General Questions
- Is there free parking at the Purdue University Airport

Our customers can park for up to 2 weeks for free in the assigned parking lot on the right before you cross the railroad tracks.

How can Purdue ctudents get to the Purdue Airport?

If the city busses are running, the AV Tech Bus can take students directly from campus to the Airport. The schedule is available on gocitybus.com under campus routes. If the busses are not running (during breaks, late nights, and weekends), one can always call a cab service.

Can the driver drop passengers off at their exact location?
-
The driver has the ultimate say. The passenger can ask the driver if he would be willing to, if not, the driver can provide cab phone numbers.

How many pieces of luggage are allowed?
-
Two checked parcels/luggage, one carry-on item, and one personal carry-on item. Children, age 3 or under, are allowed one carry-on item only. If you exceed these quantities, you will be charged $20.00 for each additional checked piece over the limit of two per customer.

How long is the trip to O’Hare? Oakbrook?

It takes about 2.5-3 hours for both trips.

Where does the bus pick-up at the Purdue Airport?

The bus will pull up to the Main Terminal building. It is located pass the railroad tracks, in the building on the right.

What if I miss my shuttle?

In case you miss the shuttle due to delay or similar reasons you will be accommodated on the next shuttle with available seats.

Can I get a refund? What about emergencies?

No, according to our “Cancellation Policy” as advertised on-line, before you finalize your reservation and as printed on your itinerary we will not refund you for any kind of cancellation.

We no longer run either of these services.

Do you have any pick-up locations on campus?

On the 6 pm Friday shuttles to O’Hare and Oakbrook, we pick up at the Purdue Airport, Purdue West (in front of McCutcheon Hall) or Ford Dining Court. We also drop the Oakbrook passengers off at those sites on the Sunday return trip.

The trips departing from Lafayette are in EST.
The trips departing from O’Hare are CST.

Does a child seat cost money?

No they are free but the child needs a ticket to ride the shuttle.

Are bicycles allowed on the bus?

Is there a penalty for changing a reservation?

There is a $5 Charge for changing the reservation. You can click on "Change Reservation" at the homepage.

Do the busses have wireless internet?

Yes, the shuttles are equipped with wifi, free of charge.

Are pets allowed?

No, other than guide dogs.

Are vehicles handicap accessible?

In case I made a mistake by making a double reservation what should I do?

When you make a double reservation and you did not mean to do so, please contact our Customer Service Department by email customerservice@expressaircoach.com and do not forget to give both reservation numbers and how this happened. In case you can show it was done unintentionally we will cancel and refund the second reservation.

I lost my receipt and I need it to be reimbursed by my company or organization. How do I get a new receipt?

In case you need a copy of your receipt just send an email request with the name under which you had your reservation and the date and time to customerservice@expressaircoach.com.

I cannot make reservation on a shuttle that is shown in your schedule to run that date and time. What is the reason?
-
If you cannot book a shuttle trip that runs at that date and time it most likely is fully booked. You can try to book a trip on the next available shuttle.

If a shuttle is fully booked can I be placed on a waiting list for that date and time?
-
No, we do not maintain any waiting list. We do advise you to keep looking at that date since we might add extra trips or change the type of vehicle we will use for that trip.

Why doesn't the shuttle pick up at other spots at Purdue University for the trip to Chicago O’Hare International Airport?
-
As our company name already says: we are Express Air Coach. We maintain an express service between Purdue and Chicago O’Hare International Airport without further stops except for fuel if necessary.
